About me

I work as a both a ceramicist and a surgical dermatologist. I have always loved working with my hands. I find that the 2 occupations complement each other perfectly. The down time making ceramics gives me the energy for both my family life and my working life.I studied Art to Alevel and completed a btec national diploma in art and design at manchester metropolitan University part way through my medical training. I returned to working with clay in 2010 when I was given a wheel and I fell in live with clay all over again. I have assisted in wood firing with Philip Revell in Dunbar and exhibited at an annual Christmas studio sale alongside Anne Gatherar.​
